Structure and evolution of natural components

Pociovalistea Gorge is made of cristalline limestone, dolomite and sedimentary formations from the upper Cretacic: conglomerate, sandstone, limestone and marl. Over time, rocks were formed here, with difficult accessibily, dominated by beech forests Ai??and mixed beech and oak forests on a quarter of the reserve area.
